Foundry Orthopaedic Partners was established to bring together Bristol's leading orthopaedic and musculoskeletal surgeons under one trusted network. We believe that patients deserve easy access to the very best specialist care — and that GPs and referrers deserve confidence in every surgeon they send their patients to.

Why "Foundry"?

Bristol has a rich heritage in engineering and industry. The name "Foundry" reflects our approach: forging strong partnerships between specialists, creating a robust framework for musculoskeletal care, and building something of lasting quality for patients in Bristol and the South West.

Leadership

Foundry Orthopaedic Partners was founded by Mr Simon Surname, a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in knee surgery, practising at Spire Bristol Hospital and Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital. The network is clinician-led and clinician-governed, ensuring that patient care always comes first.
